Sarah here with you today with my final blog post for the current year, I have to say it has been a pleasure to be here creating fun projects with fabulous products and working alongside some very talented designers. I am delighted to say I have been asked to stay on to be part of the 2018-19 Design Team.
On to my project... I made a triptych of Arches, with a honeycombe and bee theme..
Step 1
I took some bare Tando Creative chipboard arches and assembled them with matte medium to create a frame around the outside edge
Step 2
Apply a layer of gesso to the front, back and sides of your chipboard pieces and dry with a heat tool.
Step 3
Apply Brusho acrylic mist sprays to your arches and dry in between layers until you have it the way you want it to look.
Step 4
I used a stamp set from Sticker Kitten called Bee Garden and stamped a honeycombe around the frame of the triptych with Archival ink in the colour Potting Soil, then dried with my heat tool, I also used a script stamp in the inside of the frames using the same ink.
Step 5
I added some wooden bee embelishments from the same Sticker Kitten Bee Garden range to the edges and centre and finished off with some clear stickers giving the Triptych it's name
I hope you enjoyed this fun little project, and thank you all for your support and comments over the last year, take care
