I have a mixed media art journal page to share ro day. I wanted to create a grungy page that wasn't over saturated with colour while experimenting with stencils.
I started off by painting Rose Red Brusho Powder onto the edges of the page and leaving it to dry. Then i added OST Red over the top. Next i took a mini stencil and used black Soft Form Relief Paste over the top. Then i used a brayer to add paint to another mini stencil and stamped the painted side over the page to get the negative imprint of the stencil.
Once dry i added texture stamps to the page using Red, Orange and Sepia ink. I then used a letter stencil with a marker pen to add the words to the page.
I then stamped out a few flowers and stamped over them with texture stamps before spraying them with the Scarlet Brusho Acrylic Spray.
