Sarah here with you today on the blog with an art journal page, hope you are all having a great weekend, and the weather is being kind to you..
I am using 2 Colourcraft products in my project today, some transparent Soft Form relief paste and Brusho in the colours yellow, grey and lime green for a hint of spring..
Step one - I opened up my old book journal and glued 3 pages together to give it strength
Step 2 - apply a layer of gesso over the pages to prepare the surface
Step 3 - I glued down my chipboard elements with matte medium and allowed to dry
Step 4 - I took some grey archival ink and a script stamp and randomly stamped over my 2 pages, and I took a Paperartsy stencil PS045 by Lin Brown and some transparent soft form relief paste and created some dimension and the title of my page on my right hand side
Step 5 - adding the colour, I mixed up my brusho with water on my craft mat and applied to the top of each page and allowed to drip down my page, drying in between layers
Step6 - keep applying layers of brusho and drying the layers until you reach a look that you are happy with, this is a simple way to create an art journal page and I hope you give it a try at home
I look forward to seeing you all again in 2 weeks time with another fun project using the amazing Colourcraft products
Happy crafting :)
