Sarah with you today on the blog. I have created some brayered backgrounds today, which are great to have on hand should you need to make some quick cards in a hurry. By using some white acrylic paint and adding Brusho crystal colours, you can create some lovely coloured paints and create some really pretty backgrounds
I added Lemon, Violet, Purple, Leaf Green and Lime Green brusho to my white paint in separate batches then brayered this onto watercolour paper, drying each layer as I went along building up the layers.
I also used a small script stamp and a stencil add more layers to my background before cutting into 3.5" square panels and mounting these onto black card cut to 3.75" before attaching to my card base
To finish each of the cards off I cut some of Tim Holtz Wildflower#2 silhouttes dies from black cardstock and glued these to my background panels then stamped each card with a sentiment from my favourite Wplus9 Stamp set
I hope you enjoyed the cards today, you can make up several of these in advance omitting the stamped sentiment and then add them at a later date depending on the occassion :)
