Embossing Resist - Tag by Susanne

Hi there!

Susanne here today with a mixed media tag and one of my favourite techniques with Brushos! Embossing Resist!

This is what I did:
1: Emboss the Circle stamps (Viva Las VegaStamps!) with metallic gold powder (WOW!)
2: Colour the background with Brushos Sea Green and Yellow. Use a brusho to spread the colour arround. Dry it with a heat tool and blow remaining pigments away. Colour the inside of the cirles with Alizarin Crimson and Purple.
3. Add some texture stamping to the circles and also to the background. I used differend StazOn Inks.
4. The cute owl and the hearts (Rubber Dance) are stamped separately onto white cardstock and fussy cut. My sentiment is a Tim Holtz sticker.
5. Mount the finished tag onto a black one, that is slighly bigger. The high contrast lets the colours pop out even more.

Tags are super cool to add into mini albums or art journals. I also use them on gifts or as a card topper.

Thank you for stopping by today!
xx Susanne.
