Whimsical Spring ATC's by Sarah Allan

Hello Everyone!

First of all I have the winner of the Blog hop to announce.. For Day 3 Blog 2 the winner is comment No. 25 and a huge congratulations to Deborah Frings.

Deborah please contact Rubber Dance at rdsusanne@gmail.com to claim the rubber dance part of the prize and clare@colourcraft-ltd.com toclaim the colourcraft part of the prize... well done!

I hope you are all well and enjoying the lighter nights.... spring is just around the corner :)

My project for you today is a trio of ATC's, they are bright and cheery with a hint of springtime.   I used the Whimsical Summer Stamp set by Rubber Dance, that featured in the blog hop last weekend and brusho Crystal colours for my backgrounds and as a watercolour to paint the images.

step 1 was to cut 3 pieces of mat board down to the size of an ATC (Artist Trading Card) which is 2.5" x 3.5" and prime the surface with white gesso.

step 2  I took my Brusho Crystal colours and applied water to the surface of my atc, then sprinkled the crystals over top until it looked the way I wanted it to.

I then stamped various images from the Rubber Dance Whimsical Summer stamp set direct to the brusho background of the ATC's using archival ink to add dimension.

I also stamped the images onto old book pages and cardstock, coloured these in then fussy cut out and created small scenes on the ATC's, these were adhered using matte medium.

I hope you liked today's little ATC's .. they were a lot of fun to make

Have a great weekend everyone
Sarah x
