How To Create An Amazing Art journal Page With Brushos

Hello crafty friends

I have my first project as part of the Colourcraft design team to share. I used Brusho powders to create this amazing art journal page.

Spritz water into the top and bottom corners of the page and sprinkle over with Leaf Green and Emerald Green Brusho powders. Blot up excess ink with a paper towel and apply the next colour.

Apply modeling paste using the first stencil and let the modeling paste set before applying another stencil to the edges of the page.

Roughly cut up two strips of wall tape and paint with gesso before painting over with green paint. cut them into thinner strips and then glue around the edges of the page. Take a paper towel and a dry baby wipe and dye with Leaf Green Brusho powder. Cut these into heart shapes using a nesting die.

Glue the hearts into position with the two largest ones layered on top of each other. and then  Adhere a strip of washi tape and wall tape down the centre of the large heart.Glue black thread into the centre of the large heart and then go over the top with a stencil mask. Apply Green Aztec Metallic Lustre over the embossed areas and leave to dry.

Use a label maker to create the journal quote. Cutting out each world separately so that they can be positioned across the centre of the heart. Use strong glue to hold labels into position.

Thank you for visiting.

Fabulous project. I've been looking at Brushos for a while and am amazed with their versatility. I haven't taken the plunge yet, but I'm very tempted.
