Today i am going to show you how to create this art journal using Brusho inks and household items.
Cover a blank page with a stencil and once dry spray water over the top and flick Rose Red, Orange and OST Red over the top. Spritzing water over the top will reactivate the powders so the will blend together. You can use paper towels to blot the ink up and dilute the colour a bit more if needed.
Dye paper towels with Rose Red and OST Red Brushos and dry with a heat gun, Die cut heart shapes out of them using a nesting die. Stamp texture stamps over the top and glue across the page.
Glue white thread to the centre of the page and add a small amount of glue under each loop to hold into place.
Using a non stick surface, Paint Gold Eco Metallic Lustre over dry wall tape. Peel off the tape and cut up before adding to page. The paint dries like gold leaf which can be added to embellishments.
Stamp out a sentiment onto white card and paint over with Aztec gold metallic lustre. Stamp out two feathers onto white card and emboss with copper embossing powder. Paint them over with gold metallic lustre and leave to dry before adhering to page.
