Autumn is a Second Spring Card by Sarah

Hi everyone!

I have a lovely Autumn card to share with you all today, a great project for using up your scraps.

I always like to create a lot of backgrounds with my Brushos, this helps me to plan out future projects and I often look at them for inspiration.

I create my backgrounds using watercolour paper and Brusho crystal colours, which I always allow to dry naturally.

Another thing I like to do is save and collect all the offcuts from previous projects in a small box set to the side of my workspace, again providing inspiration, and like my project today i tucked into the box to provide me with small enough pieces to die cut the leaves for my card.

I love how the card turned out, and by just die cutting a bunch of leaves from all my offcuts enabled me to make a nice card.

The card base is 6" x 6" square with a dark brown layer and a top layer which is 5 3/4" x 5 3/4"

The sentiment stamp is stamped with black archival ink in the centre of the white card top layer

I hope you enjoyed todays card and thank you so much for visiting the blog today

Sarah.

  2. Gorgeous Sarah, that's one of my favourite quotes as Autumn is my favourite season. The Brusho work so well for Autumn leaves. Creative Blessings, Tracy x
