How To Create A Stunning Butterfly Card Using Brusho By Katie Lamb

Hi all

I have a nature themed card to share today. I created a project that had a lot of texture and i experimented with different green tones.

I started by painting the whole card with Lime Green Brusho Powder and then i added a few darker greens over the top. Next i added gesso to the centre and added Leaf Green over the top before adding a stencil down the middle and then Olive and Emerald Green on top.

i dyed the cheese cloth with Lime and Leaf Green and dried it off with a heat tool before gluing it to the card. The butterfly i printed off and coloured by spritzing with water first and then sprinkling different colours over the top. I guided the colour with a water pen and dabbed off any excess ink.

I finished off the card by adding a texture stamp around the edge and some sequins to the butterfly wings.

Thank you for visiting
